• Started collecting unique vintage items at an early age. He'd go to the weekend markets with his mother and it started from there. His home is more museum than house. He has things he's collected from his childhood in Gijang (things washed up on the beach, worn down pieces of pretty glass and porcelain, etc). Also collects: books, photographs, records, CDs, cameras (film and digital), toy models, typewriters, caffetieres and just about anything that catches his eye during his travels.
• Raised by his mother and her family. He has an extensive family in Gijang and spread around Busan itself.
• High alcohol tolerance, frequent smoker and coffee addict.
• When at home, he's usually in an untied bathrobe and stripped pajama pants.
• Busan accent tends to come through often. Always when drunk but mostly when he gets fired up, or is feeling particularly relaxed or tired.
• Plays the guitar and tends to sing constantly when he thinks he's not being heard.
• Suffers from insomnia. Works out everyday to feel tired enough to get some hours in.
• Huge animal lover. Raised dogs when living in Gijang but hasn't owned a pet since due to his life style.
• Loves seafood, especially when he gets to fish for his food and prepare it himself. Cooking for others is one of his favorite things to do. Casual, big, outdoor dinner parties kind of guy.
• In the process of moving to Jeju.
• Every trip outside, no matter how short it was meant to be, takes three times longer than it should've. He always stops to look around a corner or down a little street, needs to take a photo or film something mundane or chase a cat for the evening.
• A lover of all things vintage: most of the things in his house are from vintage stores from around the world.
• Writes poetry but considers it so awful that it must never be published.
• Gets antsy if he stays indoors for too long unless he's engrossed in writing. Needs to take breaks by going outside.
• A sends you thank you letters or thought of you letters in the mail kind of guy.
• Visits abandoned sites when suffering from a writing block - also used to travel extensively for filming and trying to find new filming locations.
